About Me

Due to the recent corona virus situation, temporarily need to stop hosting. Stay safe everyone!

Update: high probability that I cannot host from December 2019 until February 2020.

IMPORTANT: I can only host from Friday until Sunday starting April 2019... due to my changed work assignment.

.

IMPORTANT QUESTION: Are you an ARTIST? If So, I will be happy to get a donated* art piece made by you onsite ( can even provide a canvas AND PAINT!) This is part of my project to collect for my Couch surfing gallery which I have just started. 😜. AS OF 2019, I HAVE RECEIVED 5 Pieces of art- all made my CS Artists inside my house. ♥️

* If you're not an artist dont worry!!! You still.can request 😊

* Make an effort to read about me =)

ABOUT ME:

I have seen 34 countries and not stopping there. I also love playing Chess and rock climbing.

I like sitting on white wicker chairs. My favorite colour is green but most of my clothes are blue. Im writing this paragraph to make sure you read my profile.

Also do you know how to play chess ? If Yes, i will appreciate a game or two or more ! I have atleast 4-5 chess sets gathering dust in my house. Give me a reason to clean them!

I need you to tell me your definition of happiness. Express in atleast 3 sentences. I enjoy knowing what people are happy about. Be sincere. Write your answer to this when you message me.

Kidding about Latin.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to help people appreciate Singapore or atleast understand the living conditions to improve their travelling experience. It would be awesome to make friends and compare notes on destinations yet to be charted :)
In turn, I hope I can have incredible hosts when I set out for the world once again in the near future.

Among several house rules, two of these are important: You need to leave the house when I leave the house and arrive just after I do because I only use 1 set of keys. I would appreciate if you teach me how to cook one sample of your country's cuisine. If I am free, I can help you roam around.

Please bring your own bath towels and basic courtesy of asking before using something in the house. I am normally gracious about this so just ask. Please also clean as you go. :) I also demand for kindness and being chill!

Music, Movies, and Books

For the music, you need to see my records for my turntable
For the Movies, just too many to mention!
For the books, you check my bookshelf.

I have board games and cards against humanity. Match night by the hammock outdoor seems appealing!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Things ( Plural)

Freefall from a plane on a Christmas day in Nevada. ( Amazing guts haha)
Played chess amounting to 6 matches in different parts of Israel for fun ( Amazing Nerdy)
Play with a slot machine in a casino wearing a ball gown ( Amazing funny)
Paid for a one-way cab fare of @%%!!! USD at the desert in Eilat, Israel (Amazing sad i still can't believe it)
Being calm upon realising i missed a total of 5 flights in 2016. (Amazing Stupid category)
Got myself trapped in a Maze in the Grand Palace in Austria a few hours before my flight! ( Amazing BAD IDEA)

Paragliding on a Christmas day ( Amazing Christmas tradition of falling from the sky)

Teach, Learn, Share

Brunei... penalty ticket is like 80 cents. Haha, who learns a lesson for parking at a forbidden area? ALSO, alcohol will be hard to find there so youll be sober most of the time.

HongKong , look for the 10,000 buddhas in Shatin, some buddha depictions are surreal! ( and Gold, literally)

Hawaii, put all the flowers in your hair.. nobody cares. OFF THE BEATEN beaches are always the best.

PALESTINE bethlehem ... such a nice place to be roaming around. Salads are so good ( i had it with nargila) al fresco style

FIJI... try try try to book the chopper for the waterfalls sightseeing... i didnt do it and still feel sad about it. I was only given the option to rent a small plane and i know that the Heli would have been more epic. TRYKava... if you plan to bring some home make sure your country allows it! Not legal everywhere ! try to drink it though when you are in there, get tipsy without ingesting alcohol!

Bali- When you drive, never look at a traffic enforcer in the eye. Gives him the chance to think of reasons to fine you. No lie. Happened time and time again. LOL

Tipping in China is an insult. Unless you are in a hotel or a fine dining resto.

Bus Services at the Dead sea headin to Eliat is never reliable.

When you stand still inside the dance club in Bogota, men will think you are sick unwell because you ar not dancing. Translation- with the music on, not dancing is unacceptable. LOL.

It is a big wasted opportunity if you were in Mexico City and didn't bother to visit Frida Kahlo's house. ( this one is for the artsy people).

Taiwan, in Juifen, you need to try the Jasmine Milk tea ( hot) it is amazing.

It is a shame if you are in HK and didnt make an effort to cross to Macau for free snacks ( when you visit you will see what i mean by Free snacks, this is literally food).

In Greece, they have this nice appetiser -- rice coated in grape leaves. You must try it with Ouzo.

Bethlehem in Palestine... has got the most accommodating places for Shisha. Not only i smoked infront of a priest, i was also around families who were having their casual Sunday lunch out. It was cool!!

If you want hookah or shisha, they call it nargila both in Israel proper and palestine... so use the right term when looking for one.

Wine tours in Autralia are quite worth it.... i once bought one bottle of red that was only 12 AUD. Steal!

Napa Valley in California has a wine train where you can sit for 3 hours doing nothing but watch the scenery eating cheese and drinking wine and eventually drinking more wine. The train itself is over a hundred years-- quite old school.

Lastly, do you know that in the Philippines when you travel up north in Sagada, people hang coffins in high places like the mountains? Surreal, as If one's soul is being returned to the sky'.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Personal experience i have gained through travelling if they need tips. I d not know how to answer this queston to be honest but hey if there is something cultural related activities or chores I can do to immerse and help, why not? :)
