I'm loud all the time but then I spend days chilling alone not speaking for days.
Variety and or complementary contexts get me excited or curious. Mainly because of the response it generates, one which always causes us to reflect on our everyday experience.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I woke up one day, I'd been poached from my previous place of employment, my post graduate degree was a throw away from being completed, my heart was still sitting in my throat and I looked at myself in the mirror and I realised...
I have options, I've left myself with all the doors and I can open and close them whenever I want and maybe the doors I've opened, don't need to be rushed through anymore.

Interests

I love walking anywhere everywhere all the time. I grew up in a city where you can take 7 different routes which will all get you to the same place but you'll always see different things along the way.

I can draw quite well, I can also solder like a boss, if you want to tap into your inner sculptor - I'm ya girl.

I was never a small chat kinda person, if you want in depth conversations that spin you on your head, we will get along.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a sucker for anything Thom Yorke'y - if he's produced or collaborated with a musician, I'm of the opinion theyre definitely worth having an earful of.

My favourite artist of all time is Jean-Leon Gerome, he uses actual places and architecture in all his paintings and generates this sumptuousness. Similar to that feeling you get when you smell your favourite smell of all time or dunking your whole dirty self in the ocean, when you're so hungover.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm pretty reckless at the best of times but I always do it safely, so I assure my mother.

I worked in an antique bookstore for like 3 years and fell in love with every customer and every book and every house I visited. It was the coolest job and one of my coolest achievements.

I've ridden a mammoth swing in the middle of the Australian bush while a storm was brewing. The gusts of wind propelled us in midair as we watched the lightening, rain and clouds while smoking a joint and just loving life.

I've also found the ultimate spot at Machu Picchu hidden from all the various vantage points from the narcy tourists. While alpacas grazed around me and the sun poured all over the ruins - solace amidst sacred vibes in the thick of it all yet nicely hidden from all of that, so I could be in all this. If ya know what I mean?

If ya wanna learn how to solder, I'm your girl. I did a pretty serious sculptor course in uni and was in an art exhibition in Sydney once, I did it for the lols but I'm patient and I can teach you how to not burn your fingers - it's a skill.
Yoga - I do it everyday, so please join me.
