ABOUT ME

I am an adventurous and open-minded person. My first experience traveling internationally was when I was 13 and went with my best friend to visit her family in Greece for the summer. It changed my view of the world and since then I've wanted to continue to see life from other people's perspectives. I've lived and studied in Spain, and lived/worked in Uruguay, Puerto Rico and Argentina.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm currently grounded in San Diego for a few years, so I'm happy to extend my hospitality to travelers visiting here when possible.

Love foreign films: Amores Perros (love love love Alejandro Gonzalez Iñarritu ), Tango: No me Dejes Nunca, Amelie, Le Placard and most any thing by Pedro Almodovar.
Favorite American Film: Playing by Heart.

Music: all kinds of music ranging from rock en espanol to tango to zouk to alternative, etc.

Books: anything by Hemingway (my ultimate fav), Zora Neal Hurston, James Joyce, Julio Cortazar, Isabel Allende, Paulo Coelho... just to name a few

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While I lived in Puerto Rico I visited Mosquito Bay in Vieques, a small island southeast of Puerto Rico. It is a bioluminescent bay that you can jump in and while you splash around in the lagoon, with water as warm as bathwater, all the dynoflagellates light up around you like stars.
