ABOUT ME

I live and study architecture in Delft, Holland, a very, very, small village between Den Haag and Rotterdam. But also a very cosy and cute village.Originally I'm from the beautiful city Stockholm, Sweden, but in the last 20 years I also have lived almost everywhere in Europe. Where I have been in Europe? That would be the wrong question to ask. Where haven't I been? hmm.. still too many places to visit.When I travel I'm not the usual tourist, I do visit the same things other tourist does, but I go further then that. Together with CouchSurfers or by my self I go to their (those I stay at) favorite spots in Town. I try to find out the real spirit of the city I'm visiting. And because I'm (almost) an architect I love to make boring architecture pictures of buildings and open spaces.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

2008 - My first couchsurfing experience was in the beautiful city Vienna in the summer 2008 for four days during the last games of Euro 08.

2009 - My second couchsurfing trip was to the great city of Chicago and that for almost two weeks!

2010 - My third trip was to London. I surfed different couches in London, for more then four weeks and had a wonderful time.

I haven't had any time to host someone yet.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

12 days travelling around Israel

Hitchhiking from Wien (Austria) to Eindhoven (Netherlands) in just one day!! (must be a record)

Was in Japan, Nagoya, for almost two weeks.

Have seen Bob Dylan live in Berlin, my favorite artist of all time. If Elvis is a king, then Bob is an emperor!

Traveling through Italy for two months, staying in Bologna and from there, every day visiting a new city.

Living for many years in Stockholm, Madrid, Barcelona, Roma, Bologna, Milano, Paris, Stuttgart, Berlin, Rotterdam and now in Delft.

Teach, Learn, Share

I try to learn as many languages as I can. The beauty with languages is that you can communicate with locals in their own language. Makes everything so much easier. I'm starting now with Spanish, my sixth language. Portuguese, Arabic, Russian, Mandarin and Italian are other languages I want to learn in the future.

Cooking! I love food and I love to cook. I can teach people how to do it (it's really not that hard) and I'm eager to learn much more.

Anything actually. I'm interested in many things. Teach me much and I'll learn much. In return I will teach you amazing things! :)
