ABOUT ME

I have an insane passion for traveling so I love exploring new parts of the world every chance I get. I'm absolutely fascinated by different cultures, languages, and traditions! If this could be my only job, I would be in heaven.
I also really enjoy connecting with new people and sharing fantastic moments of life. Hence, my love for Couchsurfing :)
I have a Bachelor's Degree in International Business and I am working toward a career with international nonprofits that fight for human rights, specifically fighting against human trafficking.
I prefer to be outdoors, exploring and going on adventures.
I am ALWAYS ready to go out and dance, anywhere and anytime.
I am coming to find that a visit to the ocean and a shot of tequila will cure most things :)
I'm spontaneous and just want to enjoy every second life grants me.
I believe life is all about experiences and I want to get lost in mine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Usually I host as well as surf myself, but I moved into a tiny hut type situation in San Diego so I do not have the means to really take care of anyone! The second I upgrade my living situation I will re-open my couch to traveler's :) Until then, I hope to meet some great new friends while surfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have now been a surfer and a host and loved every experience I had!! I have really met some great souls and beautiful new friends and I cannot get enough.

Interests

My interests include history, culture, art and music. I love to learn about things that are different from what I know or understand. I've been singing and dancing since before I can remember. I took up aerial silks a couple years ago and I'm crazy about it!
More interests: languages, food, the ocean, camping, exploring, walking barefoot, discovering beauty, poetry, poetry I struggle to understand, knowledge, constantly learning, my perfect dog Navi, reading, making friends, experiences, bonfires, painting, sunrises, sunsets, the moon, very old trees, doing the things that scare me the most.

Music, Movies, and Books

This is where you can share with me! Exchanging art and music is one of the most beautiful things. It's wonderful to discover new art and what others find touching and beautiful.

MUSIC! I just love it. All of it. Ratatat, Ludovico Einaudi, Shpongle, Alt-J, BB King, GriZ, Janis Joplin- but really I love all genres and being introduced to new things. All flavors of music have touched my heart at the right time and I dig the beauty in its diversity.
Getting lost in a book is probably what I do most often. I find myself reading 3 to 4 books at a time, changing with my mood and the weather that day.
As far as movies go, I'll watch anything but the ones that surprise me or make me think are the best. My favorite at the moment is Lock Stock and Two Smokin' Barrels. I'm always good for a documentary!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've done a lot of surreal things I could not be more grateful for. I've hiked up to the top of a volcano in Guatemala and roasted marshmallows in the steam vents leading down to the lava. I've galloped across the Egyptian desert at the break of dawn. I've slept under the stars on a Mykonos beach. I've met stunning people from around the world. I've seen a lot in my travels, but there's so much more to experience!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share in cooking a meal together or just share a night out. I can provide great memories, interesting conversation, and laughter. I can also help with any English if that is something you want to learn!
