My name is Kris and I'm from Haarlem (The Netherlands).

I enjoy painting, making music, create and edit video's and lots of sports! Kickboxing, cycling and running in particular. I love any kind of animal; cat, dog, bird... you name it!

I am very social and not really shy. I have a sense of humour and I like a good laugh. I do drink (sometimes) responsible (sometimes).

I am on couchsurfing to meet new people because I travel alot.

I think the Couchsurf community are the kind of people who are interested in another person. And they enjoy spending time together rather then being alone. So am I! I enjoy listening good stories and I got plenty of them myself!

I do a lot of volunteering.
* Every year I am a team captain of a kids team during a cycling event in town. We organise this free event for the kids, so they can enjoy cycling outside and make lots of new friends.
* I've been to South Africa to do some volunteering at a wildlife ranch. It's amazing to see the impact we could make by living responsible and helping out the one who needs it the most!
* I am a reporter for a local newsstation.

People are definitely one of my interest. I am always really curious about why people make certain choises. Why do you do the things you do?
