I moved to Poland in 2017 from the United States to teach English. I am extremely happy to be living here and I would like to meet more people and learn more about their perspectives. I am an avid walker that enjoys heavy metal, craft beer, conversations, and exploring.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I go to local meetings and hope to be able to host surfers in Krakow. I've had several very positive experiences with hosts so far and am hoping to keep it going and meet even more people.

Music (see below), sports, news/history...A whole slew of things. But those are the main ones. I enjoy walking a lot; I average about 14 miles per day on foot.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

My favorite bands are Devin Townsend, Gojira, Melechesh, Pain Of Salvation, Alcest, Anathema, and Stam1na, among others. As a whole, I enjoy most types of metal, ska, punk rock and progressive rock, as well as a wide smattering of other music.

My favorite movies tend to be dystopian/sci-fi movies (Children of Men was my most recently watched film), but I'm not picky about movies at all. As for books, I like books of the history/sports variety.

After that insane walk and hour-long swim in the beach and waterfall, I biked back. Needless to say, I was dead tired. After all, my stellar in-shape days from the high school swim team are long behind me.

And then there was hitching around Europe.
