About Me
I am proudly Deaf Canadian. My primary language is American Sign Language (ASL). Love Deaf culture! I love to socialize with ASL even hearing people.
Currently, I am a graduate student for sign language education in the master's program at Gallaudet University, Washington DC.
I graduated at Carleton University/Algonquin College in Ottawa, Ontario where I grew up. My major is Information Technology with Cisco Networking Academy. Also, I graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York in 2010.
Happy to help people who are not tech-savvy.
Enthusiastic to travel the world and learn everything! even international sign languages!
I work in Japan as an ASL Instructor. I am a former ASL instructor at Carleton University, Lakeland College and other community organizations. I worked as IT support in Canada governments for almost 10 years.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because it's so cool to meeting people who on Couchsurfing. It's very helpful for everyone to help out, teach, learn and share our experiences and cultures in countries. Even I can networking with deaf/hearing people in different views.
Once I return home, I will truly help them out!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music... Meh I am deaf but can be anything like hiphop! I turn volume higher and feel it and enjoy to driving! Yes, in club too! I don't care what is it called.
Books... That's my allergy. I would pass out! For school, I do read okay!? So far, I read my favourite "Hitchhiker's Guide to The Galaxy". Not read the series yet. I have books here but there are dust on it. :-S
Movies... ANYTHING I LIKE! except not romantic, drama, and music . Combine with comedy, I am cool with it. Glad I saw the new Jurassic Park movie like I watched first movie.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Volunteered with team from Global Reach Out, american non-profit organization, in Kenya for host first annual Youth Leadership Camp for Deaf Kenyans in 2009.

Teach, Learn, Share
I love to learn something new from friends, schools, museums. etc.
I am ASL teacher, and I can teach sign language.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Teach them to be gesture... then sign languages!
I love to chat everything if meet up for coffee or have adventure activities for fun and same time they will learn some new signs and get experiences with Deaf Culture what I do.
