Why I’m on Couchsurfing

it is a great way to travel and to get to know locals. At the moment I have been living in my parents basement for 2 years, saving up money to move to South America, so unfortunately I have not been able to host anyone myself yet. But I would love to do that one day too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

being invited to join a bloco parade during carnival in Rio, then ending up dancing at the front of the parade with the samba queen.. wohaaaa

Teach, Learn, Share

Being Norweigan I can share important knowledge such as how to drill a whole in frozen lake for fishing purposes, dont eat yellow snow, dont lick metallic objects when its cold etc.

What I Can Share with Hosts

.. a lot of enthusiasm for their country. I get tremendously excited about new places, and have been known to introduce locals to new things in their own city. Otherwise, I will be a good contributor to great evenings of conversations, laughing and cultural exchanges.
