Hi, I'm Krissi. Well... that's already a lot of information isn't it, but let's go for some more :)

I'm 20 and I got my high school diploma in 2014. Afterwards I went to the US to work in Texas/Indiana as an Au Pair.

I love travelling and I try to see as much of the world as possible (which is pretty hard if you don't earn much money). But I'm really uncomplicated, I already spent a night at McDonalds in London, so no money is no big deal :D I think couch surfing is a wonderful way of cheap travelling and meeting new people and I already had the chance to make some experiences in Germany (I had positive references already but since I'm a mess and forgot which password I used I had to create a new account ;().

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think Couchsurfing is a great way of meeting new people and connecting to each other. There are so many prejudices in this world about other cultures, so I think the best way to overcome those is sleeping at a complete strangers house without ever meeting him/her. I like the idea of having this mission to travel the world and sharing it with other human beings, who are on the same mission.

I've been couchsurfing in Berlin and Hamburg (Germany) so far and had two wonderful experiences!

Interests

Lately my friends gave me a Ukulele for my birthday, so this is my one and only love (even though I can hardly play it...). I also like cooking and baking for my friends, so you won't be hungry at my place ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

Besides travelling I also love music... I mostly listen to Indie, Rock, Punk.... something like that :) Some of the most awesome artists are for example: Twenty one pilots, Portugal. The Man, Milky Chance, Citizen Cope, Fall Out Boy, Panic at the Disco, Alt-J, Jimmy Eat World, Coldplay, the Fray, Jack's Mannequin, Gavin DeGraw, something like that :)

My favourite book series is Harry Potter.

The best movie in the world is The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty. Like seriously, it's the best. Watch it. Now.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling with Singapore Airlines. Man, that's so fancy! Just kidding. I think the one thing that amazed me the most was being in New York City twice, exactely one year apart (like exactely the same date :D) and experiencing the city in two completely different ways. I learned that it doesn't really matter where you go, but who you meet... so I hope I meet the right kind of people here :)

I'm not sure if I have certain talents that can be helpful, but I guess I'll be fun to be around anyway.

Oh I know something. I have a great sense of orientation. I mean if I've got my mobile phone around... No seriously, you won't get lost with me :)
