i heard about couchsurfing a few years back, and tried it out on a recent trip to europe. i had nothing but great experiences.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

saw the sun rise from the top of ancient mayan ruins. -- rode a 7km tobogganing run just outside of thun, switzerland. -- stood in the gas chambers of auschwitz. -- floated down the ganges river at 4am in varanasi, india. -- swam with mauri bass in the perhentian islands, malaysia.
