My name is Krissy and I spent the last 6 years teaching students with disabilities in Colorado. I met my husband when we were in high school and we've been married for 6 years. I grew up playing soccer and field hockey, I love playing sports and being active (especially going camping!). I graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies, then went to graduate school to get my teaching licensures and masters for Elementary Education and Special Education. I love to destress with anything creative, such as drawing, painting, or ceramics, but also going to local bars/pubs with my husband and friends to relax. I love cooking with my husband and having nights to just binge and watch movies or play games.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My husband and I are traveling around the world for a year. We are looking forward to learning about different cultures, meeting fun and new people, learning local recipes, and having fun exploring. We are hoping that Couchsurfing will be a fun way to connect with others as we travel in each country!
