ABOUT ME

I am 42. I live with my teenage daughters (14 and 16) next to Budapest.
I used to work in an office at a multinational company but I switched to natural healing methods 5 yrs ago. Now I work as a reflexologist, I do manager massage for companies and I have a bioresonance machine. I am planning to start with lava stone massage as well, it is fantastic!
I love Budapest, this wonderful city. I always wanted to live here. I came to Budapest when I started the education at the College for Foreign Trades and I knew I wanted to stay here for the rest of my life. I lived in Budapest for 10 yrs then I moved into a family house in Pomáz which is a little town only 4 km away from Budapest. I am happy to live here, it is really peaceful and yet all the programs of Budapest are available within 20 minutes.
There is a local train here called HÉV which takes you into the heart of the city but I also have a car and I can attend you if I have some free time.
I like to meet new people and make friend. I am quite open and optimistic I think "the glass is half full" type you know. I like to help others and in the past few years I have also learnt to accept help from others. I do some voluntary work which means I help families with at least one little children (below 6 yrs) who need help (e.g. no grandparents).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to host travelers at first and maybe get hosted later as well. My daughters will be grown-ups within a few years and I will have much more free time for traveling here and there in the world.

Movies: Dead poet's society, Hair, La Boum 1-2, many films with Jack Nicholson(Something's Gotta Give, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, As Good As It Gets, The Bucket List) Hugh Jackman (Kate and Leopold, The fountain, Swordfish, Australia) and many films with Keanu Reeves (The lake house, Matrix, The Devil's Advocate) and Brad Pitt (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Meet Joe Black, Legends of the Fall, Interview with the vampire, Snatch, Troy)
I like movies which makes you think about a bit like The blind side, Seabiscuit, Forrest Gump, What the bleep do we know...
And I am fond of Nia Vardalos, she is brilliant and has a great sense of humour (My big fat greek wedding, Connie and Carla, My life in ruins).
My favourite actresses are also Sophie Marceau and Juliette Binoche (Chocolate!)and Judy Dench.
I love the series made by BBC loke Doctor Who and the Jane Austen adaptations.
Books: Jane Eyre, many books from Paulo Coelho, Kurt Vonnegut, Milan Kundera, Hohn Updike, Robert Merle and Hungarians like Szabo Magda and Szepes Maria. I also like the business books from Kyosaki.
Concerning music: I am all-eater but I am not a fan of techno and rap. I prefer older music.
I like The Doors, Sting, George Michael, Guns 'n' Roses, Bryan Adams, UB 40, Bob Marley, Hair, Eros Ramazotti and some Hungarian bands and singers.
