Traveling the U.S. East Coast and East Africa this August/September, on hiatus from my job at a Seattle-based interior redesign company.
I studied International Relations with a focus on Middle Eastern and European languages and politics, taught English to elementary students at a public school in Berlin for one year, and then returned to live in Seattle near my family last year.

Recently Spotify told me that only 64% of my music is positive and it’s 70% “danceable”. In 2019 I’ve been listening to lots of 70s and 80s music, Ariana Grande, electronica, contemporary rap, hip hop, and folk pop music.
I love contemporary fiction above all, but enjoy longreads journalism, young adult fiction, modern poetry, and nonfiction as well. Currently reading The White Album by Joan Didion, Modern Romance by Aziz Ansari, and The Sympathizer by Viet Nguyen.
