ABOUT ME

Couchsurfing is not a dating platform. If your primarily intentions are dating, hooking up etc, please do not message me. I am here primarily for friendships, new experiences, adventures and cultural exchange.

I am a friendly person, who likes adventures. I am a non-smoker. I like to be spontaneous, sometimes I might be a bit crazy (in a good way). My passion is traveling and exploring the world and wild places. I don't like to be all the time in the same place. :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I had been hosting people from all over the world whenever I have been settled in one place for some time. However, now I'm on the road, but I'm always happy to meet new people and share my experiences and stories.

If I am free I am more than happy to go out for a coffee/tea and talk and walk or just show you around if I am available.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

If I am free I am meeting up with people from CS and that is enjoyable - to share knowledge about the world and experiences.

Interests

I like to listen to music (hard core and alternative mostly, as well as some good folk and indie music), I like drawing, playing tennis, snowboarding, traveling (especially by bike), boxing etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

Parkway Drive, Rise Against and Volbeat are my TOP favourites; followed by Cold Weather Company, Saturday Sun etc.

Movies - Into the Wild (my top favourite), Lucky Number Slevin, The Sixth Sense, Donnie Darko, Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Mr Nobody etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Too many to choose from.
The most crazy thing I guess was - when I suddenly decided to quit my job and leave to do/go where the life will take me.. Let's see what happens next.

I have organised charity projects - helped loads of low-income families, it was just amazing - feelings, emotions.. I have done it more than once and will do it again. I like to make others happy.

100 days cycling from Barcelona, through Andorra, North Spain, West coast of France and across the whole Britain with one of my friends.

And 1 year of cycling through Iceland, across USA and in Mexico..

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my great stories and experiences, places to see in Latvia, Scotland, Spain, Andorra, Mexico, Iceland, Morocco, Mauritania and the USA.

I can cook a Latvian dish if the right ingredients are available in the place I am.
