COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My son has been studying for a semester in Paris and has told me about couchsurfing. I am amazed and impressed by his great experiences. I feel compelled to give back to the community that has provided safe and comfortable homes for him on his travels. We also just returned from a summer traveling in Europe and while we didn't officially couchsurf, we did stay with a "friend of a friend" for a week in Germany who showed up generous hospitality--it really made our trip special.
We hosted a German exchange student for 3 weeks this fall and enjoyed it tremendously. We love meeting people on their travels and like the idea of sharing our home and our community with people from other part of the world.
