ABOUT ME

i am learning more about myself and the world everyday... i like to look at life as a progression, a chance to become aware and improve where necessary and to enjoy the already great parts. i like people a lot, animals, babies. sitting around reading or drinking coffee or beers....i like to walk a lot. i love making things, being resourceful. i like cooking for myself and others, doing the garden again this year. thinking about art and art projects. what else, i like public transit. i love joking around and being goofy when i feel comfortable. balance is my priority right now. i'm trying to get better at coordinating all of the things i want and enjoy in life....future/present, work/play, etc.etc.. i love to dance!, i like local food and its production, sustainability in general. i am optimistic (and becoming even more so), outgoing and easy-going, flexible, and i love good communication. i live to create, strengthen, nurture, and participate in a community/ies and to grow and learn as an individual within a world of diverse relationships--a huge part of my interest in couch surfing..the community and travel.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new! I haven't couchsurfed before but i have some good friends who have nothing but great things to say about it. we recently had a "couchsurfer" (we didn't know him but had a mutual friend) stay and it was a wonderful experience! it was so nice to meet someone with a new perspective on things who is into exploring new places and meeting new people. i am hoping to couchsurf on my sf trip and will hopefully begin hosting surfers in portland in the future.
