Hi 👋 I’m a Chinese girl doing my master’s in Italy. I’m living in Milan, but since I share it with two roommates, it might not be very convenient to offer accommodation. But we can definitely hang out together

I’m passionate about outdoor adventures . I hike⛰️ and bike 🚴regularly, and I’ve also tried rock climbing🧗, skiing🎿, and surfing🏄. I love how these activities push my limits and make me feel more confident and alive.
When I’m not exploring the outdoors, I dive inward through books📖, movies🎬, and music🎵. I enjoy finding inspiration both outside in nature and inside in stories and sounds.

I’ve done some interesting adventures——cycling around China’s largest inland saltwater lake (it was absolutely stunning!), completing a bike trip around Hainan Island, a motorbike journey from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, and several famous hiking routes in China etc.

I want to do something more thrilling and meaningful in the future 2 years like walking the Camino de Santiago ? or cycling all the way from Europe back to China? Let’s see

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I used to be a typical tourist, drawn to the must-see spots and photo ops. But ever since I got into outdoor sports, I’ve started seeking more immersive and meaningful travel experiences. I’ve grown tired of going somewhere just to take pictures for social media, chasing likes and praise.

Now, I prefer to throw myself into nature to feel the wind, sweat, and silence and connect with people along the way who share the same spirit.

I truly believe in the law of attraction: if you’re kind and genuine, you’ll attract the same energy from the world. During my many backpacking trips, I’ve been helped by countless strangers, which has only strengthened my belief in the simple, honest beauty of human connection.

Even though I’m more on the introverted side, I love meeting new people on the road especially those who don’t follow the conventional path. Some might call them misfits or even failures by society’s standards, but I find them fascinating. I enjoy listening to their stories, hearing about the choices they’ve made and the lives they’ve lived.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Because I once received selfless help from a senior during my own school application process, I’m now paying it forward by helping someone else apply , completely free of charge, with no agency fees involved. At the same time, I’m also working on a non-profit women’s support network, aiming to create a global platform where women can share their stories and information to support those in need.
