I would rather buy a plane ticket than just about anything else. Travel has opened my eyes and heart to other cultures and people and the experiences I've gleaned over the years have been life changing. I love to challenge myself and am currently training for my first triathlon. I love new experiences and welcome opportunities to learn something new and to grow. When I'm not traveling I'm working as a nurse, a profession I am humbled to be in and continue to pursue passionately.

I have had a few friends who have been couchsurfers and had great experiences. I enjoy meeting new people and getting to know their story as well as getting the insight and perspective from a local on their city.

I've been blessed to have many amazing experiences. One thing I'm extremely proud of is finishing the Chicago Marathon; not only for the feat that it was but also for the journey it took to get me there.
