ABOUT ME

I never know what to say on these kinds of things so I'm just going to list random facts:
-I have an obsession with dancing that is kind of ridiculous. Dances that I know/ can teach: swing (east coast and lindy), blues, fusion, and a little salsa, but my one true love is Contra dance.
-My southern accent comes out at bizarre moments. So I'm just going to apologize ahead of time.
-I also feel like I need to apologize for all the random times I will burst into song. Sometimes I just like to pretend that my life is a musical. Feel free to contact me if you want to arrange a spontaneous sing and dance number.
-I love random facts. Please feed me random facts.
-I also love traveling. I need to go everywhere and see everything. Leave no stone unturned, all that jazz.

And... sometimes I talk too much. So I'm just going to cut it off there :)

PHILOSOPHY

as cheesy as it sounds: Live, laugh, and love. Living in the moment and being willing to experience and appreciate surroundings for what they are. Laughing at myself for all of the stupid things I say and do but also laughing with the joy that resides in every life experience. And Loving everyone. That one's pretty self explanatory. I try my best to make these my guiding words :)

Meet ups, for the most part! I loved hanging out with the group in Grenoble, and I went to a meet up in Prague as well.

Music: Obsessed obsessed with Mumford &Sons, but I pretty much listen to anything. Other favorites include: Avett Brothers, Broadway soundtracks, Coldplay, The Beatles, Sugarland, Snow Patrol, Barenaked Ladies, any kind of 90s alternative one hit wonders (you know, every song that had a harmonica instrumental break)
Movies: Dead Poets Society, Silver Linings Playbook, The Three Idiots, The Dark Knight, Little Miss Sunshine, Life is Beautiful, Spirited Away

I can teach you how to east coast swing, blues, or contra dance. Actually, please let me teach you how to contra dance. I'm a contra dance caller in training, and teaching people how to contra dance is a skill that I need to work on. So you would be teaching me too, in a sense.
