ABOUT ME

We were Kristen and Desiree. Since graduation, we have become separated. Kristen is now the ruler of this profile, so everything listed is her own doing. Now that we are no longer roommates, I am unable to host people traveling through Hattiesburg because my new roommates are not fond of the idea. I would be happy to show people around the area if I am free, though.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

People are the spice of life. I believe that the way to understand the world is to understand our place in the world. One of the best ways to do that is through learning about new people, their cultures, their history, and their beliefs.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am a published author. It isn't anything major or widely known, but several of my short stories and poems have been published in small local journals.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think every person has something that they can teach, learn, or share with another person. It just depends on the other person, and what they are willing to accept. I can teach people how to let loose at karaoke, for example. I can also teach them how to play Cards Against Humanity. It just depends on what other people are open to.
