CURRENT MISSION

To host as many people as I can to get ready for my (hopeful) trip to Italy next year. I'm very interested in the cultures of the world as I've traveled the U.S.A. a ton!

ABOUT ME

I was born in Mississippi and was reborn in San Luis Obispo about 10 years ago. This town has become such a huge part of my life and I want to show all the best parts of it to the world. I have loved traveling the U.S. and am ready to branch out and meet people the world over!

PHILOSOPHY

I love my life and wish everyone could enjoy a day in the life of Kristen. I try to make the best of the situation at hand and if a good time isn't shown to me, then I'll do my best to find it!

I've never couchsurfed but I've hosted others previously and meeting the people is what makes me want to travel the most!

Bikes! I'm very active and love to have a good time! New beers are a serious love of mine as well as new beers in the great outdoors! I love meeting new people and finding new places.

I'm open to most music, books and movies. I'm currently listening to Tom Waits, The Shins, The California Honeydrops and Billie Holiday. I'm reading Dune and the last movie I watched was Zoolander.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

When I was in Saint Ignace, Michigan I was able to view the lakes, islands and mainland from the top of the Mackinaw Bridge. It was so beautiful to be able to see everything from a birds eye view--sailboats, wildlife and the bustle of the people moving from the lower to the upper peninsula. But it was also being there with native Michiganders that were able to point out all the perks of the area from atop the bridge. It was a breathtaking view with wonderful people that I'll never forget.
