About a year and a half ago I left the daily grind to embark on a Round the World trip. It was the best decision I ever made. But instead of quelling my travel bug it inspired me to continue a nomadic life. For the foreseeable future I am wandering around Central America, with the idea of ending up in Colombia but who know's where I'll end really. I'm just going with what comes, because I find the journey is just as exciting as the end.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like the opportunity couchsurfing provides to meet like-minded people, willing to share a drink or their home with someone new. I like that it is a forum where locals and travelers can connect, since seeing a place through the eyes of a local is often my favorite way to see it.

I never was good at picking favorites so here's my currents: I'm reading Moby Dick; I have five movies queued up on an SD card "City of God" "Louis CK" "Man on Wire" "Pineapple Express" "Wall-E"; and I'm traveling with my iPod shuffle loaded with the most random 150 songs from classic rock to hip hop, reggae to indie.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

If I must choose - 6 days in the Amazon jungle, with a mixture of jungle walks, piranha fishing, spear fishing, swimming, animal-watching from the boat, and sleeping in hammocks in the jungle, with a family, and at a lodge.
