ABOUT ME

My art and design is important to me, I'm also a huge music fanatic. I studied costume design in London for 4 years, where I fell in love with traveling. I'm somewhat quiet when I first meet people, but I love experiencing new things, different cultures, being spontaneous and learning!

PHILOSOPHY

My general philosophy is the golden rule. I also believe love is all there is, and I'm here to experience as much as I can in one lifetime, while helping other people along the way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been interested in this program since I first heard about it, but I joined in September so I could tour the south and photograph some costumes I made collaborating with a band. Through a fantastic feat of couchsurfing magic and networking, I landed an amazing internship and moved to Nashville.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Excellent! What a wonderful way to meet new amazing people! Reminds me of traveling through Europe and some of the amazing hospitality and interesting people I met along the way. Can't wait to see more of the US and see how different people live!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love roots music - bluegrass, blues, rock, jazz vocalists, nearly anything really. I love Clint Eastwood films, (I'm working my way through Rawhide, the 50's tv series right now!). I especially love quirky dark films from the 70's, and anything original and well done. I've been too busy for books recently, but really enjoyed Stephen King's Dark Tower Series. I like studying artistic people and their works chronologically to see how their work develops. One of my favorite musicians is Bob Dylan. I also really love Rockumentaries - what a great idea, combining music and film!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went bungee jumping - that was great! Would love to try hang gliding sometime.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've studied a lot in the field of spirituality. From this, I've gained a lot of experience helping others, giving guidance and advice. I love to hear about different views!

I'm also a very crafty person. I love doing random art and building things for fun. Design and art are my main talents, and I can transfer this to practically any application.
