ABOUT ME

I have lived in a few different places in Canada in the past few years, for work, school and fun purposes, and now the adventure continues with a stay in Germany to do an internship...environmental health and climate change and GIS related internship.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

It's great to be part of a community of adventurous nomadic types. I host when I have a couch and always like to meet up with and / or go on missions with surfers, whichever city I am in.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

At the very least I get to hear a new person's stories and at the very best I have made some lifelong friends. In the middle is finding good company to hang out with in a new and strange place.

Interests

Activities I engage in range from biking and hiking type things (in a completely novice and ill prepared fashion) to drinks in bars and seeing concerts and performances and going dancing type things (which I show a little more expertise in).

Current interests may include: sustainable development, GIS, comedy podcasts, programming, transit systems of the world, reading (in theory), film (whatever that means), talking about social issues and gender and class stuff (it's fun??), serious podcasts hosted by comedians. I am an expert in none of these things.
