Somos Lydia y Kris, hace 2 años, nos graduamos de la escuela secundaria y decidimos que queríamos viajar por el mundo. Somos de lados opuestos del Estados Unidos, pero nos conocimos en Perú el pasado abril ... ¡Ahora estamos viajando en América del Sur durante 6 meses juntos! Comenzamos en Chile en enero, donde nos hicimos excursiones, trekking y mochileras a través de la Patagonia chilena y argentina durante 3 meses.

Llegamos a BA ayer y estamos tan abrumados por esta ciudad increíble gigante. Somos súper curiosos, entusiastas y están emocionados de estar aquí. Estamos en la búsqueda de sofás disponibles para organizarnos, estaremos acá hasta el 17 de Abril. Esperamos con interés chatear y con suerte conocernos: D

We are Lydia and Kris, 2 years ago we graduated high school and decided that we wanted to travel the world. Both from opposite sides of the country, we met in Peru last April… now we are traveling South America for 6 months together!!We began in Chile in January where we hitch hiked, trekked, and backpacked through Chilean & Argentine Patagonia for 3 months. We arrived in BA yesterday and are so overwhelmed by this giant amazing city. We’re super curious, enthusiastic, and excited to be here. We are on the hunt for couches that are available to host us, we’ll be here for the next week or two. We look forward to chatting and hopefully getting to know each other :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Estamos en Couchsurfing porque queremos hacer amigos locales, tal vez aprender a un par de recetas argentinas clásicas (si cocinas), reír, aprender sobre la cultura y salir de los albergues principalmente de habla inglesa. Nos encantaría practicar nuestro español contigo, escuchar su vida en Buenos Aires, inspirarse en su vida y experimentar la vida en Argentina desde el interior.

Lydia and Kris here, we are on couch surfing because we want to make local friends, maybe learn a couple classic Argentine recipes (if you cook), laugh, learn about the culture, and get out of the primarily English speaking hostels. We would love to practice our Spanish with you, hear about your life in Buenos Aires, draw inspiration from your life, and experience life in Argentina from the inside.
