Hello there! I’m a 32 year old excited to explore every corner of the world letting flexibility and open mindedness lead the way. I previously worked as a journalist in New York City and am now enjoying the beauty of learning people’s stories without a camera or a deadline. I love experiencing new cultures at their heart. Meeting people in the midst of their every day routine is my favorite part about traveling. What can I say, it's the journalist in me!

I love adventure; whether in comes in city exploration, getting out in nature, or simply chatting the night away. I love all animals. I don't smoke or drink. I have no allergies. I'm incredibly easy going and simply grateful that you'd allow me to occupy any of your space. I lived in Mexico for 2 years so I once upon a time was fluent in Spanish. I can't say I've been good about keeping up with it but I'm better than your average high schooler :) Im simply excited to see whatever parts of the world I can!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m looking for a way to get to know people along my journey. I want to be able to ask locals about their experience in the country and also get their recommendations. I find couch surfing is a great way to make that connection and sometimes friends for life!

I can teach Spanish and card games (I have a list about 32 games long). I am more than happy to learn anything anyone is willing to spend time teaching me. I might not pick it up fast but i will certainly give it my all. I used to be a journalist so I have some fun stories from my time on the job. I also have some strong opinions about the news world in general so if you want me to talk your ear off I totally can 😆
