Hello world!

My name is Kristin, and I am the true embodiment of the Southern California lifestyle. I live in an awesome little beach town in Los Angeles county, and I treat every day like it's a vacation! Well, with the exception of that pesky little thing I call a "job". I do enjoy my work though, so it could certainly be worse!

Whether I am watching the sunset, creating memories with friends, or soaking up the sun playing beach volleyball... My life and my heart are always full! I am friendly, extroverted, and enjoy meeting new people wherever I go. I have a lighthearted goofy side, crack jokes often, and seem to have some kind of magnetism that draws people in.

I also have a deep, intellectual side to me as well. I love debating social policy, deconstructing and decoding human behavior, and I even enjoy "nerding out" on topics like investing, insurance, and tax optimization. My adventurous side loves constantly challenging my comfort zone, spontaneous outings, and marching to the beat of a different drummer on a regular basis.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to see this world from every angle possible in this lifetime! From every location, to every human perspective. I want to immerse myself in different cultures, learn why people think differently from one another, and take in every breathtaking view along the way. Music, Movies, and Books

I love country music, but I also enjoy everything from rock to reggae. My favorite movies include Gone with the Wind and Forrest Gump as top contenders. The books I read tend to be about improving myself in one way or another... Topics of interest tend to include nutrition, emotional intelligence, accomplishing goals, challenging limiting beliefs, etc.
