Overview
About Me
I see the world as a designer: a composition of smaller details, people, and environments. Architecture is my professional study, but I use drawing as therapy, making as amusement, and art as self-indulgence. I feel uncomfortable when sitting aimless, but quiet nooks and a sketchbook make me feel at home.
I can be dropped off in a random place and wander alone for hours and hours. I will internalize moments, spaces, and interactions. These are my introverted times. But when I meet someone intriguing, I can talk for hours.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Several summers ago I went to Berkeley, California to visit a close friend. Having grown up in a small and safe town, my first solitary urban venture was a bit nerve-wracking. However, while waiting for a train along the way, I struck conversation with another traveler. We talked for hours--about our childhood, our love interests, our plans for the summer. We missed our train several times, but neither of us cared because it was so intriguing to share these small, intimate details.
Though not as amazing as the beauty of the Swiss Alps or unchartered mountain hikes, I remember this because it showed me how the places visited are the only thing that matter---people are just as important.
