ABOUT ME

After contemplating for several months whether I should leave my financially secure job in San Francisco to travel abroad I finally decided to make the plunge! Many people think I am crazy for dropping everything to move across the world, but I figure life is a gift and I'm going to make the most of it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hmm that's an interesting question. Well if I were in a class or an interview I would say that I tend to be a leader in most instances. However, this is a couchsurfing profile so here's a little bit about who I am. I enjoy adventures. Whether it's trying a new cuisine (pretty much the only thing I won't eat are beets) or going sky diving I'm in! I am generally outgoing and enjoy spending time with new people. I am happiest when I am outside enjoying nature although I do love a good night out dancing!

I lived in Australia for 5 months and travelled to Bali, Indonesia while I was there. I have gone cliff diving and sky diving. I've travelled to over 24 states in the U.S. I've spent time in Canada at Niagara Falls and Toronto. My mother's side is from Mexico so I've spent a significant amount of time there. I grew up on a farm in Indiana where I learned to horseback ride. I also ballroom danced competitively all through high school.

I can teach you how to use InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, on a basic level anyway. I don't want to spend my entire trip teaching Adobe Suite. I can teach you how to knit. Let's see what else? ... I can teach you how to make a delicious pork roast!
