I come from Sofia, Bulgaria and last year I moved to Munich to study medicine - one of my biggest dreams since I remember. Medicine is amazing and puzzling and cool and frustrating all at the same time and it definitely keeps you busy - so you even don't have time to stress about things.
However, travelling is also a big passion of mine and I try to use every free time I have to learn about life and other people, cultures, ways of thinking and seeing the world. I believe that actually opening yourself to others is one of the best ways to learn more about yourself and grow as an individual.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think Couchsurfing is very different and unique way to travel. It allows one to really learn about and "feel" the vibes of a country - through the people who live there, the way of thinking they have and the way they see the world.
I've hosted several times friends in Sofia but I can't wait to try out couchsurfing myself! Prague is next!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the things I am proud of is deciding to move out and study in Germany. This has changed my life from one day to another and has brought so many challenges .. and even more opportunities. :) It has definitely taken me out of my comfort zone, but that's exactly where I feel most real and alive.

I can give you some basic introduction to the languages I know, show you some traditional Bulgarian dances (called "horo") or cook something for you. Or I can give you some medical advice.. (like advice you can really rely on, like from a second semester medical student ;) ;))
