About Me

ABOUT ME
I love trying out different things. Professionally, I have worked as a speechwriter in the cultural sector, am currently setting up my own business as a funeral speaker and work part-time for public broadcasting.
What I really like is getting to know people and their stories. That's exactly why I'm a funeral speaker :). You get to know so many life stories and their twists and turns and so many unique moments.

In my private life, my heart beats for culture. I currently have a preference for series (e.g. "Dear Child", "Killing Eve", "Dark", "The Queens Gambit"), I can't get enough of films by Ken Loach and I love to immerse myself in novels, for example those by Zsuzsa Bánk, Juli Zeh or Karin Kalisa. I think my favorite book from last year is "Alef" by Katharina Höftmann Ciobotaru.

PHILOSOPHY
if everyone thinks of themselves, not everyone is thought of.
Life happens while you are forging plans.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My last couchsurfing experience (Denmark) was a few years ago. Unfortunately, I was always too late with my planning the last years, so I ended up with Airbnb.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

All the beautiful things that happen at funerals and that the mind cannot explain.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love open conversations about art, culture, society and politics - in short, about people. I can also sew, crochet and cook (or rather prepare meals :)).

Have ou heard about the so called "worry worms"? That's my favorite to do at the moment, crochet those worms and place them somewhere in the streets.
