I'm a graduate student of European Studies. My joy for traveling started with an Erasmus semester in Istanbul, since then I have lived in different European countries and learned a fourth language. My base is Stockholm, but it changes every half year. Therefore, I rarely have the opportunity to host in Stockholm but would be happy to do so in the country I am staying at for the moment!

I believe traveling "close to the locals" is the best way of experiencing new countries. I enjoy meeting new people and practice my languages whenever I find an opportunity!

Interesses

I love food, which is also why I love traveling. Trying the culinary specialities is my favorite way of getting to know a new place. Studying politics, I am especially fascinated by history and gladly read books whenever I find time. I also enjoy relaxing with a glas of beer together with my friends!

Cinema Paradiso regarding films and for music I enjoy most everything although ACDC, Nirvana, The Strokes and First Aid Kit are clear favorites!

My time in Istanbul as and Erasmus student took me on a travel around the Middle East. Riding behind the pyramids in Giza and sleeping in the desert belongs to my favorite moments.
