Overview
About Me
I'm currently experimenting with life. Why do some people choose a path for life when they're 17 and then feel that any deviation is failure? I embrace failure and want to try my hand at different trades and live in different cities until I know what is best for me. I've lived all over the world and am now trying to get to know my home country better.
After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh in 2014, I moved to Lubbock, Texas, to work in Agribusiness Technology. After 9 months there, I decided it was time to move on, and relocated to Charleston, SC to work at at digital marketing agency. In a few months I plan to move to Ohio to start a company helping Latinos start small businesses.
I love going on adventures, playing and listening to music, deep conversations, exploring new places, connecting with nature, and speaking foreign languages.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love getting to know people--not in the small-talk or bullshit phony kind of way, but really learning about what inspires people, what they struggle with, and what they have learned from their unique experience on this rock flying through space. It fascinates me. And I think couchsurfing is a great way to find people who are open to sharing a part of their lives with a stranger.
Also, because I love to travel by experiencing local culture.
Interests
Entrepreneurship! I'm in the process of trying to start a business, and I love meeting people who have similar aspirations and experiences.
Also, music! I play violin and piano, and I love to jam with people. I also love speaking other languages, and having discussions about philosophy, psychoanalysis, and great literature. I can be very intellectual at times, but I also like to be spontaneous, go on adventures exploring new places (especially the outdoors!) and do some partying.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 17, without knowing a word of Russian or a single person in Ukraine, I flew over to Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine, to live there for a year as a Rotary foreign exchange student. I spent the next 11 months living with host families and learning the language and went home a whole new person.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to talk about my experiences in different countries, and I have plenty of stories to tell. But I also love to listen to others' experiences. I'm also a pretty good cook, and I can play some music for you if you'll let me!
