Technically there is rather an us than a me in this case, since we're a couple travelling Australia together. We are Kristina and Pia, 26 and 25, both of us love to travel but until now neither of us have ever left Europe!
After finishing uni, this seems to be the perfect time to get out of our ordinary lives for some time and see more of this lovely planet. Since Australia is pretty much our geographical opposite, we thought, let's start there! (There is a hilarious German saying that unfortunately doesn't translate very well: "Let's roll up the field from the back" - never mind. :D )

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We know that Australia is quite popular among backpackers, but we think: The best way to get to know a country and its people is to get to know country and people! So why not sleep in their spare rooms? :D

Interests

We both have very wide interests. I(Kristina) like doing sports especially football and karate. We love doing long (sometimes exhaustive) walks, exploring the surroundings and being pleased about new and beautiful things. We've discovered taking fotos with an old analog camera for ourselves :-D.

Both of us like to read but we definetly have different preferences regarding genres :-).

Pia is interested in everthing to do with planting, gardening, growing. ...beside she loves animals...she's got her own sheep!

I like motorcycling, I' ve got a lovely suzuki gn 250.

We tend to argue about music occasionally. So there is a wide range of what one of us might like.

We enjoy going to the cinema. There is an old, cosy repertory cinema in the town where we come from.
