Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately, I can't host surfers. I currently don't have a permanent residence. Once, I do have a place to call my own, I can't wait to open it up to travelers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have yet to actually couch surf. I'm hoping to make my trip to California my first couchsurfing experience.

Interests

My mountain bike is my baby. Nothing beats a windy, rolling trail through thick forests that most people never give a second glance.

I also love the outdoors in general. Hiking, backpacking, climbing, surfing, gardening, and canoeing are probably my main hobbies when I go outdoors. I've also been called a bookworm. I can't stand to sit in front of a tv watching countless hours of sitcoms. (No judgement on those who do. I just don't have the attention span for it.) I love good movies. Give me a book, and I am a happy person.

Last, but certainly not least, FOOD. I love trying new dishes and experiencing new foods.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a very eclectic taste in all three of these categories. If it's not vulgar rap or a country song that makes me want to cry, I probably like it.
As for books and movies, if it's well written/produced, I will more than likely love it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Surfing the same wave as a school of fish. May not seem like much, but it was absolutely beautiful to me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I eventually want to be a professor, so teaching is where I feel at home. I can teach any of my hobbies. I'd also love to share my stories and knowledge of nature and what the world has taught me.
