Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

Hi everybody!

I currently live in Zurich due to my studies and my job at the University of Zurich. I`m an open-minded person who will gladly share all about the culture, tradition, the cuisine of my country, and the countries I live(d) in.
I`m on Couchsurfing because, for me, people are those who make cities what they are. It makes me happy to discover and learn new things from those who are local. They are those who carry the true soul&spirit of the place! :)

Also, if anyone is interested in visiting Zurich, I would be more than happy to meet up!

Interessen

People are my inspiration, both in my research work and in my artwork.

This probably led me to choose my profession, to become a social anthropologist. What I was always driven by in social anthropology was the approach: one should become a part of the local community. In my opinion, this is an experience that a person can get from Couchsurfing too, getting to know the culture from the inside.

Also, for me, managing to talk with someone in their own language is quite a special experience, which is why I`ve recently decided to start learning at least the basics of the language spoken in every country I plan to travel to.
