ABOUT ME

A bubbly, talkertive redhead with a travel bug stuck in my heart. Chance has brought me into a wonderfully international lifestyle and I love it! This world consists of an infinite number of ways of doing life and I hope to experience as many of them as possible first hand. That means I love travelling, but also getting to know different environments and subcultures within my own country.
But first and foremost I am created by God and set on earth with a purpose. I try to use every opportunity I get to see the blessings in the people around me.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is an unrepayable gift, all I can do is to enjoy it and be thankful for it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted a lot more than I've surfed, mostly because I don't travel much to places where I don't know anyone. I've had lots of great experiences with hosting, though.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

- Staying with a wonderful, open-minded family in Den Bosch, Netherlands.
- Eating tortilla española with two Cristinas from Spain.
- Losing a Mexican in the Norwegian mountains.
- Having a dinner party with two French IT-guys.
- Sharing loads of inspiration and experiences with a coffee-shop working, dumpster-diving, world-changing, hitch-hiking Hungarian.
- Roaming around town, climbing towers and playing on playgrounds, with a girl from Kazakhstan and three Chinese people.

Interests

Basically I like anything which is related to travelling and meeting new people. I am into sports, especially basketball. I also like cooking, and learning how to cook food from different countries. I like music and I would love to learn more about music and dances from faraway places. What I do the most is talk, and I like engaging in discussions on most topics, learning from others' views and opinions, as well as telling and listening to stories.

Music, Movies, and Books

I wouldn't be able to list any favourite movies, bands or books, because there are so many! I like watching movies, I LOVE reading books and there is no better way to relax than to listen to music on long bus rides.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am the kind of person who knows just a little bit about a lot of things, and so I am not really an expert on anything. I can however teach Norwegian, English, Spanish and basic Swahili, and I might have at least a few ideas to contribute with on others topics aswell.

I love learning in general, be it history, language, cooking, dancing, philosophy, you name it.

I like sharing experiences, funny stories, philosophies and views on life. There is so much to learn from one another!
