PHILOSOPHY

All is possible if you want it.
- this is a saying from my mother which she repated like 1000000x throughout my life :) And it's true. For now I managed to do everything I planned in my life. It makes me feel worth living on this planet :)
But, there are more plans to accomplish, one being stating PhD for now :) Wish me luck! Oh wait. Hmmm. What about finish it now? :D
Also, I am very very grateful for all the people in my life; family, friends and some random people who have made me smile once :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to meet people from all over the world. I've been traveling a lot in the last 2 years and had a chance to meet some amazing people who became my best friends (and I think they will stay until I die)... Some of them became like my sisters and brothers who just moved to another country... :) I know there are more amazing people out there and I don't want to lose any chance to meet them. Since I am traveling a lot, this is a great opportunity to save money and get so much :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Although I've been a guest of many friends living abroad and they have been my guests I am new in 'surfing' other people couches through CS. I did met tons of people through CS groups (especially Zurich group) where some became close friends :)

Intereses

Science is my thing! :) I wanted to do science since I was 5 and I think I'll do it until I'll be 95, then I plan to start experiment with drugs... well we can say this is one type of 'doing science' too :D
Besides doing science, I am a half-professional salsa dancer... I've been doing dance since I was little too (ballet), and I'm in latin world for 3 years now and I love it... Dance is my other big professional love :)
I love traveling, I am a poor student from Croatia so this could be possible only when I started to travel to conferences and events organized by students from all over Europe (which means it was mostly for free) :) Now, living in France I've earned some money so I can do it by myself (pay it I mean) :) I just love seeing other places, experiencing other countries, being late to planes, trains and buses (NOT! - but somehow it always happens to be like that :D) and of course meeting other people :)

Well, maybe these things won't sound amazing for all the others but I consider them amazing ;)
I did bungee jumping (August, 2010.
I've seen Istanbul in the sunset from the beautiful Topkapi palace.
I've shared rakii diner with 2 amazing friends.
I've performed on National Television.
I've seen sunset from Oia town on Santorini.
I've shared ouzo dinner with 3 amazing friends.
I've been wasted only once in my life.
I loved.

Oh, I know everything about the cancer (but not about the cure)! :P
I know many card games (Uno, Greek Shithead, Italian games, Bella,...).
I know many social games for remembering new people, maaany drinking games... (I have very good references in "I have never ever.." game!) :)
