I'm very respectful and open-minded towards people's homes, families and cultures and look forward to using couchsurfing as a way to make friends and travel the world! I'm also a dedicated metalhead: I love to use faraway metal shows and festivals as an excuse to travel, and look forward to meeting like-minded individuals around the world!

When traveling, I believe the best way to get to know a place is to immerse myself, as opposed to being a typical tourist and staying in hotels with tourist agencies. I think staying with locals and accepting their hospitality contributes greatly to that :)

My musical tastes range from classical music to noisy low-fi black metal and everything in between, but my favorite style is, without a doubt, black metal.

I like art-house, psych. drama and horror flicks, as well as old movies, foreign films and comedy.

I read a lot. My favorite authors are Burgess, Huxley, Bulgakov, Dostoevsky, Brodsky, Anne Rice, Remarque, Hesse...the list goes on :)
