I’m a 20 year old woman who is happy of nature and I like to think that my good mood can be contagious :) I am hopelessly in love with the World because there is so much to explore in it and learn from it. I recently finished my general education and before entering university I want to take a year off from my studies to fulfill my dream of traveling around the world. I have a strong desire to experience other countries’ culture, meet new people and absorb local traditions like food, religion, politics and recreational activities.

I believe that perhaps the best way to perceive and experience a different culture than my own would be to socialize with those that are familiar with the area I visit. I strongly want to see the true nature of the places I’m traveling to and therefore I think it is absolute necessary for me to receive some help from local people. I also find the concept of Couch surfing to be brilliant!There are so many amazing people around the world and Couch surfing gives me the opportunity to meet them :-)

Of course traveling is high on my list of priorities otherwise I really enjoy taking photos, hanging around good people, friends, family, read all manner of literature, hiking in the mountains, freediving and exercise, especially running.

I actually enjoy a great variety of music. As I mentioned, reading books is a favorite of mine and to choose one as my favorite is impossible. However I may mention that I’ve read “A thousand splendid suns” like 7 times, haha! I also love movies and I’m into most genres :)

A big smile and good humor will benefit the host as well as my cooking skills :) I do dare to say that I’m pretty good at making exciting food that can be both super healthy and delicious. I can promise a helping hand with cleaning and I’ve been raised to take good care of other people’s properties. Since I’m Norwegian I can definitely give true insight into a country that only has 5mill inhabitants and its culture. I am outgoing, but not loud meaning that I enjoy quietness as well!
