Overview
About Me
I'm an outdoor practitioner who facilitates courses mainly for students between the ages of 15-18. Still an Instructor Trainee for now but I really love being in the outdoors and doing what I do. It really gives me a chance to meet many people from across the country. Likewise, I hope that through Couchsurfing I will be able to meet more amazing people and hear more about different cultures! 🤗
Since I still live with my family, I cannot host anybody in my home unfortunately. However, feel free to hit me up if you want a guide or a friend to explore with. I can't guarantee I will have the time on weekdays (working) but if I do, I would be elated to show and tell you more about my hometown! 😄
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want the unique opportunity to meet new people while travelling on a budget. I hope that I will be able to learn more about the places I visit through living and interacting with locals
The chance to make new friends with people who visit my country is also a draw for me. I would love to share more about Singapore as its multi-culturalism and diversity truly does have a lot to offer
*DO NOT message me to try for a hookup etc. This is NOT a dating app*
Interests
I have been practicing Taekwondo for over a decade now, and am a certified 3rd dan Black Belt under the Singapore Taekwondo Federation. I also participated in and won many competitions for Poomsae, Kyorugi, and Demonstration so I know a lot about the sport. It is my passion and it has taught me so many values and developed my character. I could go on about it but I should probably stop rambling now haha 😅🥋
I also love photography and travelling to explore new places. I like to think that I take good photos but if anyone has any advice, please do share so I can improve. My goal is to be able to capture the essence of places I travel to in my photographs. Still got a long way to go but it also gives me a goal when I travel at times, to try and capture the world through my lens 😍📸
(Honestly though, I'm still just an amateur)

Music, Movies, and Books
🎵: Hippo Campus, LANY, Lauv, Rise Against, Shinhwa
(I listen to an array of genres so it's really hard to pick just a few)
📖: 'The Outsiders' by S.E. Hinton
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went skydiving in Australia and it has been by far the best experience I have had 🤩
I have had other amazing experiences as well although they just don't really seem as cool in comparison if I state them lol
Teach, Learn, Share
Currently, I'm a Trainee Instructor facilitating outdoor courses for youth. Prior to this, I was a Taekwondo coach for a few years although now I train for leisure. I was also a volunteer side walker, aiding equine-therapy sessions for children with disabilities. Through these experiences, I have had the chance to teach others and share with them the knowledge I possess, whilst also learning from them
I enjoy meeting new people, and having cultural exchanges. It is so invigorating to learn more about the world, about individuals, and the difference in ways of living
Truly, exploring new places and learning new things is the most amazing thing one could do for themselves as it builds not just knowledge, but also understanding and acceptance of diversity 💞
