Overview
About Me
I love meaningful conversations about life, love, art, politics, feminism, gender theory, the way the world works, social and environmental issues, and relationships. I believe that we discover new aspects of ourselves and grow the most when engaging with new people. Let’s expand each other’s minds over some beer!
It is important to me that the folks I connect with share feminist, queer-positive, and anti-oppressive values.
I eat vegetarian and am always striving to eat more vegan meals. If you eat meat, I won’t hassle you for it.
If you have pets I will shower them with love! ❤️
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I unexpectedly found myself travelling to Berlin solo. A friend told me about her positive experiences with CS and I am here to see what the hype is about! I am a social person and am hoping to connect with awesome people to share adventures and stories with.
***I am not on here just for a free accommodation! I want to connect with likeminded people during my travels. I would rather stay in a hostel than try to force a connection with any person just for a place to stay. If I sent a request it’s because I truly think there’s a good opportunity for connection.***

Music, Movies, and Books
Music - My favourites are indie, alternative, new wave, no wave/synth punk, house and techno.
I love books! A well stocked home library excites me. I’m currently reading “Unsettling Canada: A National Wake Up Call” and “Kindred”... “Black Skin White Masks” is on deck.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiked to the top of the tallest mountain in Banff National Park (see photos)
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: public health (masters in epidemiology), overdose education (working on overdose crisis in Canada), activism in Toronto. I can share stories from my volunteering in the Toronto nightlife and festival scene in harm reduction and crisis support.
Learn: I love learning! Tell me about your life, politics and travel experiences
Share: I can share food and beverages. I love a good shared adventure!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am more than happy to pitch in to make a stay a mutual success. If you have pets I will give them lots of love ☺️ I am also very happy to contribute to a shared meal and/or some beverages!
Unfortunately my current roommate situation does not allow for me to reciprocate as a host in Toronto. But I can definitely connect folks visiting Toronto to fun events and help to explore cottage or camping in Ontario.
