I'm 20 years old girl from Latvia. Currently living and working in Baiersbronn, Germany. I try to always be positive. I'm a pretty quiet girl, but I love meeting and communicating with people especially foreigners. It's so interesting to get to know new cultures and people from different backgrounds.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have family member who always raves about Couchsurfing and the experience it has given to her. Listening to her stories it has inspired me to try Couchsurfing myself.

Interests

In my free time I really enjoy baking cakes and cookies. I recently became vegetarian and I love discovering new recipes. Orienteering has been my passion since I was a little girl, now I don't do it so much but the love for it hasn't faded. Recently I have been interested in minimalism and zero waste living, I think these are two really beneficial things to be truly happy in life. And I try incorporate them in my life as much as I can.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kind of music and it is hard to choose one favorite artist or band, but to give few examples - The Beatles, Bon Jovi, X Ambassadors, The xx, Frank Ocean, The Lumineers,Ed Sheeran, The Chainsmokers, Imagine Dragons, Bryan Adams and a lot more to go.
Movies also are a hard subject, I like drama movies, thrillers, comedies, documentaries and also romantic, not so much horror. I would really recommend two documentaries - What The Health and Minimalism. We are your friends is also a very good movie. The Hangover is one of the best comedies out there, And my favorite TV of all time is Friends, I could watch that again and again.
I like reading a lot but it's hard to start for me. Two books I love were by Khaled Hosseini - ''The Kite Runner'' and ''A Thousand Splendid Suns''.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I have to think of something amazing I have done I want to think of things I have done for others and there are few, but little things. I have few big things in mind what I would like to accomplish in future so I will leave this part empty for now...to be continued.
