ABOUT ME

I think my personal philosophy below describes a little of who I try to be...

PHILOSOPHY

I like to live my life from a place of love, peace, joy and oneness. I tend to hold an attitude of gratitude and positivity, and an "awesomeness" about life and nature and all the every day miracles. For me, almost everything and every moment has purpose. I believe in a spiritual oneness that weaves among us all and holds us all together.

I believe my purpose in part, is to shine and share the light that lies within, to hold a safe space for whomever I meet, and to connect to that very essence within each person. I am told I make others feel safe and accepted, and that I tend to help others see what is really going on in each moment, and help provide insight for others on their journey. I believe every connection has purpose and power, whether it lasts a moment or a lifetime.

I am new to this site. A friend introduced me to it.

Interests

At the moment it is about travel, being in the present moment, and connecting with others who are focused on enjoying each moment of the journey.

I used to travel for conferences and never stepped outside the conference centers. Now I am focused on seeing a little of each city I go to, and to learn something of the people and culture.

I tend to love the outdoors, nature, and animals. I love hiking, exploring, skiing, biking, roadtrips, visiting new places and just seeing all that is out there.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I enjoy all sorts, especially music with soul and sung from the heart! World music, native, chants and kirtans, pop, country, folk, blues, and a little gospel. Love music that presents themes of love, peace, and unity.

Movies: I like the typical chick flicks, the romance and dramas, the independent films, comedies with heart, disney, animal flicks, spy adventure movies such as the Bourne Identity movies, and the super hero shows. I tend to like shows about people who beat the odds and make a better life for themselves or others.

TV: Touch is my newest favorite. I also love the crime dramas...CSI's, NCIS's, Law and Order's, Perception, The Closer, Covert Affairs, Fringe, Rizolli and Isles, Burn Notice.

Books: I tend to like spiritual stories and messages, and stories that involve travel and growth. The last book I read that I just loved was Mutant Message Down Under. I am currently reading Birth 2012.
