My mission is to seek out unique experiences through world travel and human interactions.

ABOUT ME

I was that kid who wanted to be a National Geographic photographer when I grew up so that I could travel the world. Though my dreams of professional photography were not fulfilled, my job does allow adequate time to travel. I try to take full advantage. My favorite destination so far has been New Zealand.

Interests close to home include film and music. I love visiting small arthouse cinemas to catch the latest indie or foreign film. I haven't seen much live music lately, but this is something I really enjoy. I think Matisyahu was my most recent show. Getting outside and exploring the outdoors is always easy in the Seattle area, and I try to do it as much as possible. The beach at low tide is one of my favorite places. Luckily I'm living right at the beach these days. I just as often (more often actually) can be found at a table on the city sidewalk consuming some sort of food and/or beverage on sunny days. I believe that counts as outdoor exploration. I'm very interested in conservation and have recently taken on a volunteer education position that allows me to inform the public about conservation issues. I can get you into the zoo for half off!
