It may sound as banal and blank as you can possibly imagine, but I honestly believe banality will save the world! I would love to see people actually doing things together instead of sitting at the computer.
Internet is a wonderful thing and a way we all can travel around (use couch surfing)), but this is exactly the best thing couch surfing does - it connects people letting them share their experiences.

I stayed once at a place in France, Paris, though it was arranged by my friend from work as he is very active in this network.

music, literature and books, theatre, ballet, opera, travelling of course)), movies, art, packaging design, gender studies, hanging out with friends, cooking and wining&dining in general).\i like riding a bicycle and it's the best vehicle to my mind in the city.
i love owls and everything that depicts them.
i enjoy meeting new people from other countries and i'm interested in other cultures, traditions, philosophical notions and perceptions.
i like nature, hiking, swimming, snorkeling, jogging etc.
there are many other things that i like or i take interest in, but i can't possibly put everything down here. so it's another reason to meet and share experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

i enjoy music so much i don't go out of home without without my iPod. there's everything from electronic music to indie/folk.
in music the biggest icons for me are Interpol and Radiohead, I also listen a lot to Fever Ray/The Knife/Zeigeist, Simon&Garfunkel, Band of Horses, Bat of Lashes...I could go on and on. I love Puccini's operas and Mahler's symphonies.
The Beat generation - J.Kerouac, A, Ginsberg,W.Borroughs are one of my favourite authors, besides novels and fiction i also read quite many academic writings in philosophy, politics, sociology and other subjects.
american comedies definitely are not my favourite choice for passing time, but sometimes with friends that's an option. European cinema (especially, French and Danish) interests me, and one of my favourite directors is Wang Kar Wai.
