CURRENT MISSION

My mission now and always: learn something new everyday, create art (all kinds, I especially love to paint and draw), travel around the world without spending a cent on transport or accommodation, continue bicycle trip around Europe (and Asia later on) and meet all you amazing people who enrich my life.

ABOUT ME

I love living life and gaining new experience. I like to grow as a human being, develop and learn something new. Every day. And by doing so, if I can cast new light and open up new perspectives and possibly make other people see the beauty in the big or small things in life, it makes me feel very good.
I love the outdoors (all four seasons), and all kinds of physical activities. Nature and environment has always been my thing. I like this planet, I like to take care of it, and I would like you to do that too. Climate, nature and sustainable development are topics close to my heart. I have been studying and working with ecology and environment issues a lot and I want to learn more still! If you pollute, litter, over-consume and/or use unnecessary motorized vehicle transportation I will have a word with you (don't worry though, I am very kind;)). I do my best to minimize my own ecological footprint and I can teach you all about it if you want. Green is my favorite color for many reasons.

PHILOSOPHY

all experience is good experience. I don't want to die curious or with regrets I didn't try "that"... and neither should you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I take every possibility I get to surf or host! I especially like hosting as it is a way for me to give something back to a fellow traveler, as I have been fortunate enough to enjoy the same treatment before. It's also a way to feel like I am out exploring the world, even from my own living-room, by sharing and giving.

Interests

I like any kind of social activities, meeting people obviously, hang out, dancing, play (board) games, cook and eat together etc. Friends, culture, new food and culinary sensations = happy Kris!
I love the nature so outdoor activities are also my top intrests. Everything green. Hiking, running, canoing, any kind of recreational activities.

Forrest Gump is a great movie. That's all I need to say. When it comes to books and movies in general I can just say I like to be moved somehow, to feel, laugh, cry and experience something that makes me think and reflect.

I will Teach you to cook (anything from waffles to thaifood), listen, and run from a bear.... Learn how to play guitar and whatever you will teach me.. and Share knowledge and charisma :-)
