Overview
About Me
I teach college courses in film and sociology, so conversations with me can be very boring--Wait, did I say boring? I meant fantastic--I always get those mixed up. But, if you like boring/fantastic things about arthouse movies, film theory, and social group dynamics then I'm a gold mine.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm driving across the U.S. this summer and I'm hoping to get to know a bunch of interesting people and visit places that I've never been, throughout the country, and give back however I can.

Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to paddle board. Seriously. I'm traveling with one, and others can be rented and transported fairly easily. It might look boring, but it's actually fantastic.
I love learning new things and meeting new people, so I'll be a good listener if you have cool stories to tell... Someday I'm going to learn to play the piano, but we don't have to tackle that one just yet...
What I Can Share with Hosts
Dinner is on me!
I love trying good, local restaurants, so if you have the time and the desire to eat out, I'll pick up the tab. It's the least I can do.
Also, I'm a non-smoker and very tidy. My travel plans are incredibly flexible, so whatever works for you is great for me.
Countries I’ve Visited
Cambodia, Malaysia, Mexico, Thailand
