ABOUT ME

Grew up in Lancaster, Pennsylvania (the heart of Amish country), spent a good amount of time traveling with my family and on my own, studied arabic language and Islamic culture, Landscape Architecture and Urban Planning at Arizona State University. I volunteered in Albania for two years with the Peace Corps, biked from Albania to Egypt with my best friend and now I'm living and working in Albania 5 months of the year.

PHILOSOPHY

I used to think the world rested on a bed of organized chaos - now I see it's just about money. I don't want it to be that way.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I offer a couch when I have one, share what I know when it's usefull, and meet people through couchsurfing as I travel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted at my house in Tempe, Arizona and have been hosted in the American NW, in SE Asia, and now around the Mediterranean. I've always had a good time meeting down to Earth and interesting people from all over.

Interesses

Art, Travel, Apiary, good karma, finding wrinkly old guys with beards and mustaches who tell great stories with their eyes - they're a dime a dozen in Gjirokastër.
